Ingorokva Street has been renamed several times. In the XIX century, it was named after Peter the Great. After the Soviet Union, it was first called Trotsky Street, and from the 1930s to 1990s, Dzerzhinsky Street. A small part of the historical part of Tbilisi from the 40s and 50s of the XIX century is preserved on Ingorovka street and the number 4 building is one of the earliest residential houses in Sololaki. It was built in the early 1850s. The purchase order for the construction of balconies and the metal gate for the building has been preserved. It was ordered by Asatur Khalatov, a citizen of Tbilisi, and was approved by the Construction Commission of the Tbilisi Province in 1858. The author of the design was Grigol Ivanov, a Russian architect working in Tbilisi. Maybe the original design of the building itself was also by him. The three-story brick building with a basement and an inner courtyard stands at the mouth of the street. The façade decorations are plain and the edge is separated by bypassed window openings. The peripheral areas of the upper floor are decorated with paired windows. The inner yard of the building is open with wooden balconies. Currently, the building is in need of major restoration. The wooden balconies leading to the yard are partially demolished and there is water in the basement.
