Gardenia Shevardnadze

Gardenia Shevardnadze is a magical place in Tbilisi. It combines a German-style garden with a variety of seasonal plants and beautiful flowers, a cozy cafe, Villa Gardenia hotel and a flower shop. Zura Shevardnadze is the creator of this beautiful garden. He planted the first persimmon tree with his grandfather when he was only five years old, and from that moment he knew what he wanted to become in the future. The garden is quite big. Half of the area is reserved for greenhouses, workshops, cafes, guest houses, and the terraces are used for entertainment purposes, weddings and parties. The garden blooms from early spring to late autumn. New, rare varieties of plants are also presented here. Among them you'll also find an interesting collection of succulents.
