Old Quebec is a historic area in Quebec City, Canada that has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Composed of Upper Town and Lower Town, it is part of the district of Vieux-Québec–Cap-Blanc–colline Parlementaire in La Cité-Limoilou borough. It is often referred to as "the Old City" or "Quebec's Old City" in English and as the Latin Quarter in French, although this latter term more accurately applies to the area surrounding the Séminaire de Québec, the original site of Laval University.
