The Pitons are two volcanic plugs situated in Saint Lucia, close to the towns of Soufrière, Choiseul Quarter Choiseul and the electoral districts of three and ten. Gros Piton is 2,618.9 ft tall, while Petit Piton is 2,438 ft tall, and they are connected by the Piton Mitan ridge. The area they occupy is 2,909 ha (7,190 acres) and is part of a World Heritage Site. These two peaks are situated on both sides of Jalousie Bay.
