Querétaro City

Querétaro City is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of Querétaro, located in the central region. It is 213 kilometers northwest of Mexico City and 63 kilometers southeast of San Miguel de Allende. The city is the seat of the municipality of Querétaro, divided into seven boroughs. In 1996, Querétaro's historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is a bustling business and economic center and a vibrant service hub that is going through social and economic renewal. This has led to a high influx of migrants from other parts of Mexico.
