Welcome to Metaport,

where every building, street, and corner gets to whisper its story. It all started with a simple love for the past. A handful of us began snapping photos of Tbilisi’s weathered facades and sharing their hidden tales online. Then something beautiful happened. People reached out. Travelers staying in old houses wanted more than tourist pamphlets. They craved the unique, human stories of who owned that building, who designed it, who lived there, what the city survived, and why each place felt alive. That spark lit a fire in us.

We realized this wasn’t just one city’s call. It’s a universal one. From cozy villages to bustling capitals, people crave to know the soul of the places they touch. So we built Metaport, a living map where history isn’t fragmented and locked in dusty books but blooms through the voices of everyone who cares. Here a single spot can hold a chorus of tales, medieval research alongside modern memories or whatever you’ve got to share. Our dream is to bring all those scattered threads of the past into one warm, welcoming space. We want to democratize history so it belongs to us all, not just the experts.

One of our team poured her heart into this after Alzheimer’s stole her chance to ask her mom about their family’s roots. That loss drives us to say, don’t wait. Share what you know, whether it’s your grandmother’s attic stories, that quirky shop’s legend, or the faded photo you found. Add it to Metaport. You’re not just preserving history. You’re gifting it to the world, to curious wanderers and future generations alike.

Join us. Every place has a story, and we can’t wait to hear yours.

Yours truly, Team Metaport
